Product Details

Bontrager Affinity R Saddle

Bontrager's Affinity R is a comfy road saddle ready for long rides. It features a gender-specific CRZ cutout to take pressure off sensitive areas and increase blood flow. The Affinity comes in 3 different widths to perfectly match your sit bones. The saddle's shape and rear curvature are optimized to give riders excellent support, ergonomics and comfort, even the graphics are away from high-friction zones.

Most of my riding is the 7 miles between JPL and Caltech, though I do take longer (~15 mi) rides on weekends. This seat replaced a stock Trek seat that was falling apart from years of use. It's not a squishy seat, but I find that there are no pressure points and I've been fine with it on ~2 hour rides. I'll eventually get a second one for my tandem.
