The Butterfly Carbon is the lightest of the Butterflies thanks to the addition of carbon rails. It's wider in the rear than typical saddles for good support of a woman's sit bones. The Butterfly Carbon's low profile, flat top, and a complete cutaway through the center are designed to provide pressure relief and support in the right areas. Terry's longest distance, lowest profile, widest cutaway Butterfly with something extra: Poron XRD. Designed to take comfort up a notch for endurance riding, the Butterfly Century is engineered with a layer of Poron XRD shock absorbing material between the saddle’s base and foam layers. The Poron XRD reduces road shock and allows for a thinner layer of foam and a narrower overall saddle profile, without loss of rider comfort. A larger foam cutout provides greater soft tissue relief. A wider center cutaway and the addition of gel along the top are the primary differentiators between this saddle and our classic Butterfly. The wider relief channel, combined with its contoured rear and thin gel layer, makes the Butterfly Ti Gel + extremely comfortable and ideal for endurance riders. Like all Butterflies, the Ti Gel + shares the basic construction characteristics. It's wider in the rear than typical race saddles for good support of a woman's sit bones. The top is flat and low profile, and we've used the ideal blend of stiffness/softness in the injection molded foam to allow for good support and power while pedaling.
